Wooohooooo! I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had at the PW party this past Saturday, August 29. With all of our amazing sponsors… Deep Ellum Brewing, Anhueser Busch, TX Whiskey, Tito’s Vodka, Emporium Pies, Pop Star Popsicles and Hari Mari… all we really needed was YOU. And boy, did you guys come through on that one. Last we looked we were at about a 300 head count… a 300 bobbing/drinking/laughing/eating/dancing head count!
Meet Baby Bird. BB is the newest addition to the Photo Wagon family. Since buying Lady Bird in 2011, vintage travel trailers have become so popular. I scoured the internet for months looking for the perfect trailer. A good friend of mine found Baby on Craigslist and it was love at first sight! The post had only been up a few hours but was already set to be looked at by 5 different people the next day and was 4 hours away in Gonzalez, Texas. I convinced the gentleman to sell her to me sight unseen. So with a Pay Pal payment and a dream, I became the owner my second vintage travel trailer.
My incredibly smart, talented, and patient “Road Manager/Trailer Fixer/Voice of Reason” has taken on the job of turning Baby from trash to treasure. She is a bit rough around the edges and slightly unstable… a little like me! Follow along as I post pictures of our progress on the site.
Here are some pictures of the day we picked her up!
As you can see… she is in need of some love.
Exciting news in the Photo Wagon world, we have a brand look! I’ve been so excited to work on this rebrand with local graphic designer, Emily Holt, and can’t wait to start using our new website to it’s fullest potential.
